Welcome Friends. 💜 I’m always in awe of the pictures I’ve seen of the northern lights, so I incorporated them in today’s design using the emboss resist technique. According to Google, the northern lights were visible in 10 states on November 13, 2025. Also known as the aurora borealis, the northern lights is a natural light display caused by solar wind particles from the sun interacting with Earth's magnetic field. These interactions result in vibrant green, red, and blue curtains of light in the northern hemisphere night sky. The visibility and intensity of these auroras fluctuate. 💜 Watch my process video to see how I used silhouettes to pull off my aurora borealis interpretation.
