Welcome Friends! My card today
features the Hero Arts Autumn Leaves Fancy Dies and an older leaves stamp set. Watch
the video for alcohol inking tips and techniques that produce beautiful Fall
hues. Today’s video is a part of the Card Crafting Collaborative (3C) on
YouTube hosted by Robin, The Delta Crafter. Collab crafters will share oodles
of card making techniques, tips and tricks centered around a “Fall” theme so be
sure to check out all of the crafty videos listed below. Next on the hop is

Card Steps
(Watch the Video for Complete Tips & Techniques):
Die cut white panel using largest MFT
Wonky Stitched Rectangle Dies. Cut panel to 4” x 5 ¼”
From the white panel use two of the
larger leaves from the Hero Arts Autumn Leaves Fancy Die and place in desired
location on panel, die cut the leaves
Cut a cardstock (CS) layer for
shaker backing. I used the palm green CS cut to 3 ¾” x 5. I first ran it
through my die-cutting machine using a dots embossing folder to add texture
Die cut leaf/acorn from alcohol ink
panel for embellishments
Prepare sentiment
Mix small amount of gold reinker
with water and prepare to splatter
Use a paint brush to splatter gold
drops throughout white panel
Also splatter gold drops throughout
the palm green shaker backing
Use double-sided tape around the back
perimeter of the white panel and liquid glue within closer to the leaves.
Cut acetate to 3 ¾” x 5”. Place acetate on top to cover shaker bits; centered on the pack of the white panel.
Next use double-sided foam tape
around the back perimeter of the white panel making sure it touches corner to
corner so none of the shaker goes can escape. Remove release paper from tape.
Add antistatic powder to inside of
shaker window(s)
Add shaker bits/sequins
Add shaker backing CS
Use double-sided tape or other
adhesive to adhere your shaker to your card based
Add sentiment and other
embellishments

Welcome Friends! Come sail the seas
with me in today’s video. I created 15 cards using the Simple Stories Vintage Seas
6x8 paper pad and Nautical Bits. I have enough pattern paper left over to make
many more cards. Watch the video to see how the pattern paper does most of the
work and the cards easily come together.
Card Measurements:
All are slimline cards measure 3 ¾” x 8 ½”.
PP=Pattern Paper; CS = Cardstock; LG = large; MD = medium; SM = small
All Blueprint Design Sketches (BPD) are linked beneath the cards created with that design.
*I stamped a flock of birds, with black ink, to the right of the lighthouse after I’d filmed the video. Just felt like they were missing. They added a nice touch to finish this card!
LG PP 3 ¼” x 8”; Red Mat 3 ½” x 8 ¼”; Teal Mat 3 5/8” x 8 3/8”; Navy Mat 3 ¾” x 8 ½”
